This magnificent handpainted relief earthenware stein is very meaningful specially for people of German ascent.
The body of the stein features the text of the German National anthem which could be translated.."Unity and right and freedom for the German Fatherland. That what we shall strive for in brotherhood by Heart and Hand". Decorated with the romantic towns of Heidelberg and Rothenburg and the German Crest is in the center of the stein. The base medallions feature big cities: Munchen, Frankfurt, Koln and Berlin. The center medallion features the famous Neuchwanstein castle.It has a handpainted pewter eagle on a solid pewter plateau lid.
