De Carlini Hungarian Santa Christmas Ornament

In Hungary, Mikulas visits children on December 6^th which is known as St. Nicholas’ Day. Children put boots in their windows and if they are good, Mikulas puts goodies in them. If the children are bad, his sidekick Krampusz leaves a switch. This would indicate that the bad children would be beaten. Children are mostly good and bad so they would receive both a switch and treat.
